Objective

Barnes & Noble approached us with the goal of building an entirely new in-store app experience. The objective was to help customers search store inventory for merchandise while also optimizing the overall in-store customer experience. I contributed by designing and prototyping the interactive components, and later contributing design direction for their eCommerce website.

In addition to working on the new in-store app, I also helped the Barnes & Noble team with refining the ecommerce search and menu interactions.



Checkout Flow

Significant work went into single sign up and the guest checkout user journey. This was important to get right because this tends to be were users abandon their shopping carts the most.
